Oligopoly is part of the Basenti Game System, a modular game design that empowers players to leverage multiple unique play experiences within a larger model.
Oligopoly is a semi-cooperative megagame for 6-40 players to simulate the interwoven relationship between the public and private sector in the business world. In Oligopoly, players will act as corporate and city leaders, trading and labor, land, and resources to advance personal and team goals. Players must adapt to external forces as businesses and cities unlock new abilities by achieving milestones.
Players serve as corporate and public leaders by trading land, labor, and capital to advance personal and team goal. Expect market shocks through the event as other teams achieve milestones.
Oligopoly takes is roughly a two hour experience, including rules introductions and a debrief session at the end of play.
