Main Factions

Mischief of Faction is a social deduction game that provides overlapping goals for three different factions. These layered goals can create opportunities for members of opposing factions to work together.

Liberals

Liberals are good ol' fashioned players who believe in life, liberty, and property.

Liberals DO NOT know the identities of other players.

Liberals win the game if either there are Five (5) liberal policies in play OR their current district scores Five (5) points.

Fascists

Fascists are an organized group of ne'er-do-wells who want to install autocracy.

Fascists DO know the identities of other fascist players.

Fascists win the game if there are Five (5) fascist policies in play OR their current district scores Five (5) points.

Oligarchs

Oligarchs are an organized group of superwealthy who want to profit off of politics.

Oligarchs DO NOT know the identities of other players.

Oligarchs win the game if there are Five (5) oligarchy policies in play OR their home district scores Five (5) points. Home districts are located on a player's role card.

Because Oligarchs are rich, the game starts with one Oligarch policy in play.

Moderates

Moderates can be used in larger games as an optional faction.

Moderates are those who want to play all sides in politics.

Moderates DO NOT know the identities of other players.

Moderates win the game if there are a total of Eleven (11) policies in play or their district scores Five (5) points.
